INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES
- strengthen qualitative research knowledge and skills
- gain experience with health communications strategy and planning
- collaborate with communications researchers and strategists on a daily basis
- collaborate with content and creative team members to translate data and insights into concepts, products, and assets
- gain exposure to evidence-based, audience-driven communications processes and practices
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Qualitative Research Support:
- data cleaning, organizing, and coding
- interview and focus group discussion scheduling
- note taking during interviews and focus group discussions
- review and provide feedback on findings and other reports
Communications Planning and Strategy Support:
- organizing source content
- identifying and surfacing key evidence and information
- proposing evidence-informed communications objectives, strategies, and audience insights
REQUIREMENTS:
- Data collection and analysis
- Health communications research, planning and strategy
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program with an emphasis on research OR
- Graduated within the last year (2021 -2022)
- Ability to commute to and work onsite (Atlanta, GA) for the duration of the internship.
