Being the Enablement Communications Manager at iManage Means

You will serve as a global communication thought leader, and subject matter expert of "how-to" communication within the Content Experience team, and our ecosystem of customers, partners, and our company. You will create communication strategies that will engage and provide our community with visibility into resources and journeys available from the customer and partner perspective to maximize their value in their iManage investment.

During this ever-changing, expanding phase of our cloud first company transformation, in collaboration with our teams, you will propose, design and implement strategies and programs to connect and engage our entire community. You will provide leadership within Enablement about how best to communicate technical content initiatives to advance our company strategy and roadmap, to guide and enhance the customer experience, increase engagement, and increase the skill of developing and delivering effective communication plans across the content teams. Your approach will be creative and innovative and you will maintain and foster the iManage brand voice across all channels.

iM Responsible For
  • Partnering with key stakeholders in Enablement, Marketing, and Content Leadership to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate strategic, impactful and memorable enablement communications to our customers and partners.
  • Growing and executing channel enablement communications and overseeing existing channels.
  • Leading strategies to initiate and execute global technical communications that drive strategic alignment and engagement and strengthen our company performance.
  • Creating and executing the strategy for the 'how-to' content of company events which includes iMCommunity, ConnectLive, symposiums, etc. and driving post event awareness and on-demand consumption.
  • Developing communication channels and working closely with content teams to build a steady stream of engaging content with a consistent brand voice.
  • Creating global feedback loops and working with leadership to promote open two way communication channels to drive continuous improvement.
  • Creating and owning the ”Go-to-Community” strategy to engage and encourage customer and partner communities to support each other and serve as brand ambassadors of the company.
  • Advising content teams on delivering impactful communications to serve their strategic and department priorities and support organizational change initiatives.
  • Partnering with members in Enablement and other departments to understand upcoming company and department-specific initiatives and/or changes; developing integrated communications plans, then execute.
  • Continuously improving the Technical Communications function by utilizing metrics and user feedback, developing team members, and by raising colleagues’ understanding of excellent communication.

iM Qualified Because I Have
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working on a team in global communications, marketing communications, or a related discipline with a focus on both promotion of business vision/strategy, community engagement and development of team members.
  • A proven track record leading an innovative persona based (partner, IT, end-user, etc.) communications function and executing global communications plans.
  • Knowledge of content creation functions, change management communication, & technology industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interact with and influence senior executives, departments, and stakeholders who have a variety of communication styles, perspectives and priorities.
  • An ability to collaborate effectively across Enablement and other functional areas to produce clear communications that meet the needs of specific departments and enhance the effectiveness of enablement content.
  • An ability to manage projects and implement multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and rapidly changing environment.
